Anyone know if ATMs in Cabo distribute both American Dollars (USD) and Pesos... or just Pesos? Since the economy prefers USD, it would make sense that the ATMs distribute both, but I don't know. I don't want to get stuck with any Pesos at the end of my trip... but i don't want to bring a bunch of cash if I don't have to. Any advice?

Pesos. But I always take a couple grand in cash and use my credit card where necessary. I also change over a little bit to pesos as sometimes you get a better exchange rate. I find that more at the little shops off the main strip. I hardly ever have any pesos left when I get home.

did you just say "make sense" and "mexico" in the same sentence??!! lol.

To answer your question, ATM's in Mexico distribute Pesos. "Getting stuck" with pesos should not be a concern because you can exchange them back to USD just as easily.

Keep in mind ATM's in Mexico are serviced differently. I have had many occasions where the ATM was out of money for several days. I would bring some USD with you as well.

All give you pesos.
Like 4 years ago Bital (now HSBC) used to have only one at Plaza Nautica (just behind Caliente) that gave you both pesos or dollars, but not any more.
Almost everywhere you can pay with dollars, or use your credit card whenever is possible.
Enjoy Cabo
