my friend works in a nail salon and her client had poo under her nails, what would you do/tell that client?

Send 'em to a sink to wash with hot water, soap and a nail brush for a full 30 seconds before letting them come back to the nail station.
Was it really poo, or just dirt? How could she tell?

It is kind of like a dentist having a person with rotten teeth or a doctor working on something really gross. Your friend should charge extra, put on a pair of latex, disposable gloves, a face mask and get out a disposable plastic bowl...fill it with hot water and disinfectant then start scrubbing...BUT CHARGE EXTRA...and make sure you quote it before you start!! With luck, if she doesn't care to lose the business - that person will leave!

I would have asked her what it was under her nails. And then tell her she has to scrub them with a nail brush. And remember it takes at least 3 minutes of scrubing to kill bacteria.

I would ask the client to please wash her hands before we begin. Dont make a scene, just politely ask them to please wash up before you being b/c its cold season :)
If the client comes in with poop on thier hands all the time , you have to right to refuse service.

I wouldn't do her nails thats just gross.
i would say....
"why do you want your nails done. its not like your gonna take care of them. i mean look at your nails without the polish"
