I seen this years ago when the Sci Fi channel showed anime movies on thursday nights, but I can't remember the name.
I know there was this guy travelling throug space, his computer has a female voice. He meets a woman (who is on of three sisters who must all love the same man or the universe is doomed) and she falls in love with him, she dies or is killed, and her love for this guy is passed on to her sister, however, the 3rd sister has been tricked into loving some weird alien thing-man. the alien thing-man uses his bones as weapons, and kills the second sister.
The alien thing-man wants to destroy the universe or something, so makes the 3rd sister initiate the destruction. the Alien thing fights with the man who the other sisters loved, somewhere along the line, the 3rd sister sees the light and falls for the man.
The alien is killed, but it is too late, and the 3rd sister must sacrifice herself to stop the destruction.
Anyone know the name of this, I've been searched for ages

I remember watching that on Sci Fi myself. But it was an anime so boring that i forgot it's name. I only remember the good ones like Galaxy Express 999, Green Legend Ran, and Roujin Z. I wish i can help you out more unlike these other answerers that are enjoying their 2 points.

Was it--perhaps Tenchi Muyo?
There is at least three different sets of Tenchi Muyo, so it could be either.
But in this anime EVERYBODY falls for the main guy--all the ladies, the female aliens, etc, etc...
and he's alos very clumsy and gets hurt alot. His trademark is usually bandaid somwhere.
Do you get the Funimation channel? they are showing the first Tenchi Muyo series on saturdays and sundays. On DishNetwork, it's channel 9407.
Imagine--a free anime channel (at least in the evenings) this whole time--and I never knew it till a week ago--by total accident!
