If you are sick, first off, baby has already been exposed to whatever you have before you showed symptoms. Secondly, breastfeeding will transfer some immunities to whatever you have to baby! If mom is sick, continuing to breastfeed is the BEST thing she can do!

Yes, it is ok. Just stick with one of the medications your doctor said was ok. Your baby will get anything he needs from you to overcome any sickness.
