I mean, its not a bush or anything...I keep it very trimmed. But my girlfriends all shave theirs and I see on here that its the "style" to shave. I however feel that I'm a woman and not a little girl...I should have hair down there. Am I the only one?

I don't shave there either. There runs a risk of getting a yeast infection if it is done too often. There is a reason for the hair to be there. The same way there is hair in your nose, to keep unwanted free floating particles from getting in.

Seriously don't worry about it. Chances are your friends are just showing off about it to make themselves look all "cool" and "grown-up". The reason why a lot of girls do it, is because some guys seem to have an obsession with it or prefer it when doing certain things, however most of them really don't see it as that a big deal or they understand if you aren't shaved, so do what you want to do and whatever makes you feel happy. I mean if you are with someone or one day will be with someone, it be pretty shallow of them to hold that against you!

No - I think completely shaved looks strange. Trimmed is best, along with shaving the bikini line.
I stopped trimming quite as "short" and when my boyfriend returned from military duty he was very happy to see hair again! He feels it looks sexier and more womanly. Me, too.

I trim. I tried shaved, and I didn't like it. I thought it made me look like a little girl, and the EWWWW factor was just too high. I do shave the bikini line however.
Wear your pubic hair the way you like. Whatever works for you is whats best.

Don't worry about it. I shave my completely but I don't do it for fashion ( I have been doing it since college and thought I was weird-guess I'm in fashion now?). Oh well-I just like it because it's cleaner and I don't have to worry about it in the summer. But once you shave-good luck going back! I've tried-it itches so much I have to re-shave.

Too many people think that "everyone" shaves it all off because porn stars do, and that's all some men can talk about.
As long as **you** are comfortable with what you do, that's all that matters. Who cares what the other girls think? Those are ~your~ private parts, not theirs.

not only are you not the only one, you are one of the smart ones. Pubic hair serves a purpose, and should not be shaved.

no you are right its good to have hair there,. but shaving is just a fashion statement to me... because its not for comfort, i hate the lil bumps..
