When I was that sick all I could hold down was a little bit of Ginger Ale....it was my life savor. Only have her sip it. The ginger helps calm the tummy. I lived off of that for about 3 weeks, then slowly added saltine crackers.
Best of luck, hope she feels better soon....and I hope this helped :)

I was the same with my second child i even tore something in my stomach and was throwing up blood. The best advice I can give you is to not lay down right after you eat. Don't eat anything that doesn't sound smell or look good. Also try to wait a little while after you get up to eat. I drank a lot of Vernor's and seven up because there is no caffeine and it settles the stomach. Some people say coke works to. It sounds gross but when you think your going to get sick drink something carbonated it can keep it from happening sometimes.

If your daughter is 9 weeks pregnant and is sick you can try saltine crackers with water. They are mirical workers for me. 1 sec I'm naseated and sick so I cram a few crackers down and I'm good for a while.
I also found for slight sickness those same saltine crackers work and so do animal crackers. Rasber tea and ginger are supposedly suppose to help too.
I also found eating the crackers and water before getting up out of bed in the morning helps alot.

Water can give you heartburn, which makes nausea worse!!!
BUT it is so important to keep hydrated right now. sip warm ginger ale or flat sprite.nothing too cold, it aggravates the stomache.saltines are a lifesaver.best to keep some right next to the bed and eat before you even get up.small meals all day long instead of 3 large meals as well. any strong smells will make it worse, so no perfume or frying food smell!!!!!

Ginger is very good. Tell her to keep some ginger snaps by the bed, and to start to nibble one before she gets up in the morning.
If she's actually being sick and is becoming dehydrated, then I'd suggest a trip to the GP who can probably give her something for nausea.

Scratch and sniff a lemon, I've heard this works and get her to keep sipping liquids as some of it does stay down, apart from that go back to the doctor as he should be able to give her something for the sickness if it is that bad!

if she's thowing up constantly you might want to take her to see a doctor pronto, she might be dehydrated, but for right now try keeping her in a room where she's ok (i.e. no smells, sights) When I first had morning sickness I was throwing up day and night for a week, turned out to be dehyration and my doctor perscribed me diclectin because I had severe morning sickness. The medication is safe for both the baby and the mommy. So, best to see a doctor. CONGRATS!!!

Go to the doctor, they can prescribe some medications that will help that won't harm the baby, and if she is dehydrated, she may need some IV fluids to get her back up to speed again. That can help make her feel much better right away.

I was that way, but it was because I had an infection that had gone unoticed for too long. But if it is indeed morning sickness you can call her doctor and ask them to put her on some medication for that. I can't remember the name of what they put me on, but it was a gel that you would rub on your wrists. That's how the body absorbed it. Check into it. HTH, good luck
