Why is it that all message board topics work but none of the political message board topics work?

I'm sure you haven't tried to access "all" political message boards but I would assume some of them are down or very slow due to the insane amount of traffic they are receiving considering we just had midterm elections and the Democrats took control of both houses of congress.
