Othello. He was the poor sucker who was duped by that Iago and ended up losing a wonderful, sweet woman in Desdemona.

Well first of all, the movie is based off a play by Shakespeare.
That said, I did feel very bad for his wife...who had false rumors spreading around about her resulting in her wrongful murder. I did feel a slight bit of sadness for Othello. But in all honestly, it was very slight because I don't care what anyone has done, there's no justification for murder. He trusted the word of his "friend" over the word of his wife whom he KNEW in his heart would never betray him.
