I don't know who he is,apart from the fact that he is an extremely irritating man with a very LOUD VOICE!! And a wierd fixation with making pennies clean....

Makes sense that the American's would think him great. He comes from the school of whoever shout's the loudest get's the sale. Probably comes from the Market stalls of some god forsaken town somewhere who got fed up with his shouting, didn't want to be a town cryer, so went to America to make his fortune, but even they got fed up with him, so now we have to suffer him on our TV's.
Cillit Bang, please get a new person for your adverts, he makes me want to headbutt the TV.

he is not who he says he is, cos when the adverts first started its was some 1 totaly different and he too was called barry scott. Unless the first person was not who he clamed to be

I don't know who he is, but I wish someone would "Cillit Bang " him, he's the most annoying person on the TV, with a mouth as Great as Yarmouth and a voice to match

BANG AND THE DIRT IS GONE! yeah I know, he's very annoying. I have to turn the tv down when that advert comes on. There's even a techno remix of that advert =(

Well beleive it, or not, his name REALLY IS Barry Scott. Saw him on an old sky infomercial for a vacume cleaner in the U.S.

Barry is English but he made his name in the US on their versions of QVC, Bid-Up TV etc.
They absolutely adore him in the States, which is confirmed by his unrivalled sales figures. Over there he is a bit of a selling God and no one can touch him. (By the way he does my head in too)

He's a LOUD MOUTHED unattractive fool, who is paid enormous amounts of money to get on your nerves.
Frankly I'd put a bullet in his head.
He deserves it.
