Here is some tips :
Small Eyes
Step 1: Line inner eye rim of lower lashes with white eye pencil.
Step 2: Sweep a light pink or silver shadow on inner corners of each eye.
Protruding Eyes
Step 1: Sweep dark brown powder across eyelid, using a heavy pressure on outer corner of eye.
Step 2: Apply same color to bottom portion of your eyes.
Hooded Eyes
Step 1: Whisk a white shadow onto each eyelid and brow bone.
Step 2: Pull each eyebrow up from arch and apply some taupe eye shadow in the crease; when you release the brow, the crease will adjust to a higher level. This is something like doing a mini eyelid lift on yourself.
Make your eyes look bigger simply by using white eye liner make up

Earth tones are excellent for darker complexions. Try the new Cover Girl, that Queen Latifah is promoting. The eyeshadows are smooth going on, and stay on quite well.

Look into MAC's eye shadows. They have a nice selection for darker skins. I love their blue and green selection. Try those for sure-

Golds, reds, and bronzes are all exotic, warm colors that would probably work well. For cool tones, deep purple and frosty white/silver would also look nice.

Try MAC cosmetics. I like them because they last all day without fading. The colors can be very bold to very mild, you should ask for assistance on applying them. My fav is the purple pigments.

if you want to look more natural go for these colors: basic black, deep purple, dark bronze/gold, or dark brown. if you want to go crazy try a really crazy color like bright yellow or hot pink but only if your going out clubbing or something like that. use the other colors for every day wear.
