Have you looked at a consignment store or thrift store? Newborn clothes generally are in good condition since they arent worn very much before they are outgrown. Also try E-Bay. Good Luck

There are mom's groups that exchange/give away clothing. Try www.momsclub.org
Craigslist and eBay are both good bets. I just bought a lot of 14 pieces of clothing on eBay for $8 plus shipping (7.50).
I put an ad on craigslist after my son was born (I was laid off 8 1/2 month preggers) and kind parents gave us a nice crib, an excersaucer, and other stuff. Be sure to return the favor and pass along your maternity and/or baby stuff!

Check and see if you have a local Pregnancy Center, sometimes they have free clothing rooms.
Freecycle.org, you can sign up for a local freecycle and post wants there. Everything is free.
Leave a post in the laundry mat or if you live in a complex you can leave a post on a bulletin board.
Last but not least you can get baby and childrens clothing very cheap on Ebay.

you could check to see what's at www.babycenter.com they put baby clothes on sale. You'd be surprised what you could get. I'm not a rich single Mom and I got most of my son's clothes from that website. They wear well, got most everything on clearance or on sale. He's two and half now and I'm having to look elsewhere because he's so tall for his age. He's in 4T shirts and pants.
