my dad and mom are married and pretty happy... they fight sometimes. a few months ago i found a condom in my dad's truck... i called him today and he wouldnt tell me where he was. should i be worried?

the condom looked dirty... as if it had been on the ground... in dirt and gravel.... and it was not used

I wouldn't worry too much ... I'm sure he's big enough to take care of himself ... but you can sure question him about the condom ... if he's careless enough to go leaving them around (you didn't mention if it was used or not?) he deserves to be at least questioned

I think you should ask your dad to lunch and have a long talk with him about this..
By finding the condom in his truck,tells you one thing.He is responsible enough to be using protection and lowering the risk of getting a std to pass on to your mom.
Then again he could have loaned his truck to someone else and they left the condom in it...I'm sure there is a logical explanation.But don't worry,they'll work it out....Just be there for both of them..

Maybe your DAD is just being cautious about NOT wanting to have any more children at the moment? Plus, if your MOM has been doing the wrong thing and your dad found out about it, he may be using them to prevent std's?

Don't listen to all these people who are telling you not to worry. Of course you're worried. It concerns your parents. But if I were you, I would speak to my dad first when I see him face to face. Maybe you two can meet somewhere where you can be away from your mom. Tell him what you found in his truck. If he confesses to you, then suggest he speak with your mom about it but don't force him to. He has to be the one to handle this himself.

My kids and ex always used to snoop. My ex though she was a detective. I stashed some condoms in the car, got them all pissed off at me and to this day I have never told them.

Yes I would be, the condoms aren't for your mother, you need to tell your father that you know what's going on, then your probably gonna have to tell your mother, your in a very difficult situation and I wish you the best.

Get your father alone and make it very clear to him that you are going to demand an answer from him or you are going talk to your mother. If he doesn't take you seriously then talk to your mother. Maybe she'll tell you that they used it? Good luck with this one.

if i were you i would try an talk to your dad but take it no farther than this. if he doesn't want to give you the answers , ask him if you should go ask your mom where it came from. then i bet he will be ready to treat you like an adult an talk to you.

It sounds like your Dad could be messing aroung with another woman I don't think that is anything that you should worry about yes you should be concerned about him cheating on your Mother if its bothering you that bad I think you should talk to him about it

Yes, its sounds like he is cheating, either with a man or woman. How much more proof do you need? Confront him about it, he needs to be discreet.
