It means your adding new notes to a chord that are not there. The characteristic of a basic major chord is 1,3,5 which is referring to the intervals in the major scale. To get a minor you flat the third. Type in chord finder when searching for a chord there are tons of websites that show you the chords, however I could not find your A2, D2. If you find out please share info.

On second thought, while searching for A2 I got A6 and all that was changed to the chord was a major 6th was added. I think the reason why you can't find and A2 is because I think is the same as Aadd9 The 9th and 2nd interval are the same. so add a B to your A major chord. http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/chord_name.php this site helped me. It tells you what chord you have constructed and can tell you all the different ways you can play them. ( please correct me any one if I am wrong)

D2, Play as D chord but lift up the second finger, i.e. do not press the buttom string.
