No problem. Follow these steps and you'll be golden.
1. Go to the START menu
2. Click on RUN in the RIGHT COLUMN of the START menu
3. A window will pop open
4. Type "msconfig" without the quotes into the box
5. Then press OK
6. A window will pop-up
7. There will be tabs at the top of the window
8. Select the tab that says BOOT.INI
9. In the bottom left there will be checkboxes
10. Select the checkbox that says /SAFEBOOT
11. Click APPLY and then OK
12. Restart your computer
13. Delete your file
14. Repeat steps 1-10
15. BUT this time UNCHECK /SAFEBOOT
16. Restart your computer once again
17. Everything is back to normal and the porn is gone
Hope this helps! E-mail : kogi_202 [at] yahoo.com with any questions!

Funny funny funny, she's gonna castrate you with a rusty knife!
can you give more details on the file, what is it called, what site you got it from, it would help us help you
You have checked its not read only!
Try booting the PC in safe mode either F6 or F8 when it starts
and deleting the file that way
Alternatively search the registry (regedit.exe) for the filename and delete it from there (be very carefull when hacking the registry)
dont try it if you are not confident
Alternatively, what is the chance of your girlfriend stumbling upon it, can you pretend you had a virus or a pop up did it.

You clott
Throw the computer in the local lake smash the back window and smash the house up,then tell her you had a break in yes it will cost money to replace and time to straighten up but at least you will keep your girl, failing that dump her as soon as you see her.

This is a pain, I've been there. It's imposible to distroy. dont upload it, or try to hide it. use a cheap paint program to erase the picture or change the file type, even the name along with the icon.
Then make a compressed file and move it there, add a password, change the folder icon and file type(with rename) if this doesn't work you can always apolagize(look at me, I can't even spell it right).

That's why there is something to be said for private accounts, hidden folders and encrypted files if you are sharing a computer with someone. Okay, not relevant to your situation now. Start the computer in safe mode, that should allow it to be able to delete the file. Try it.

Close the program, file, whatever it is, then try deleting it. Make sure you delete cookies, files, and the explorer too. Why dont you put a password on your account at the login screen?

Start your PC in safe mode by pressing F8 as it begins to boot ... this should stop any access
www.grosoft.com
Download the Anti-Spyware from their FREE site and run that as well just to get rid of any Gremlins ... also turn your System Restore OFF then reboot and turn the System Restore back on

Go to Accessories, click on System tools and then System restore. You can take your computer back to a day before you were silly enough to download such garbage and it will be wiped out..
