Yes, it does. It shouldn't matter what gender he likes in his bed. It's not like he has naked men dancing on his piano when he plays. He IS a great song writer and pianist and I've loved his music since I was a kid. You know what I thought when I found out he was gay? Nothing. It didn't matter to me. I like his music.

I've known that Elton John was gay since the 70's and I still listen to his music.

I have been lisyening to Elton since '72 and have v8 CD's. Bernie Taupin's lyrics really make it. Before he came out Elton was a great singer-songwriter, now he is a great gay singer-songwriter.

most people don't care, look at how much money he's made from songwriting and singing! I think he's an excellent musician with some cracking songs!

I don't think there's anyone that doesn't listen to his music because HE is gay. They don't listen to his music because HIS MUSIC is gay.
I think he's pretty good. But "Candle in the Wind" ?? come on, that's gay.
