how I feel and believe... If you live in Southern Illinois (South of interstate 70)you have no senate representation.

I will rephrase - He cares about Chicago, not any other part of Illinois.

I really can't speak to what part of Illinois Senator Obama may or may not care about.

Well how many states do you want him to represent, it is usually one state to one Senator. He represents all of Chicago. California has 2 Senators they represent all of Calif.

The entire state votes for Senators. Their term runs for six years. Don't like him? Support a candidate you like, and vote him out of office when he is up for re-election.

You have the power, use it. Don't just talk the talk, get up and walk the walk.

Democracy only works when you take it off the shelf and use it.

Like him or not, if he ran for President, he would easily win the nomination and the Presidency.

He is that good.
