Yup, Britney Spear filed for divorce.
"Britney Spears has filed a petition for divorce from Kevin Federline. Spears filed legal papers today in Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing “irreconcilable differences.” In her petition, Spears asks for both legal and physical custody of the couple’s two children, one-year old Sean Preston and two-month old Jayden James, with Federline getting reasonable visitation rights."
There was no one incident that led to the divorce. Apparently it was a string of events that culminated in Britney's decision to divorce Kevin.
The final straw was when he stood her up for dinner a few nights ago. In return, she didn't show up at his performance in NYC (the performance had nearly no people in the crowd). Then today, she filed for the divorce.
It's good for her. She can get her life and her career back on track She has two kids, and she can move on and raise them without that leech K.Fed.

You are so right. The whole world (except Britney of course) knew that Kevin was just using Britney to get some fame and fortune. He's a complete idiot.

I think it's great the Britney finally came to her senses and realized he was just after her money. To bad he totally destroyed her image in the process. She will never bounce back 100% after this.

i was surprised too. didn't think it would happen so quick, she just gave birth. why would they divorce after having 2 kids so fast like that.
