That might just be the dumbest question I've ever seen on yahoo answers, can you please...for your own sake, expand your question.

Borat is a fictional character invented by British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who previously played Ali G a wannabee gangster rapper, who pretended to be black. As Ali G, Baron Cohen frequently interviewed leading UK politicians and public figures and made them look silly by asking them stupid questions and agreeing with anything dubious they said - a tactic Jon Stewart copied on the Daily Show. When Baron Cohen began to pursue a career in the US he just transferred this interviewing style to his other character Borat. Nothing to do with the Democratic Party at all - and i find the suggestion a bit weird. An additional irony is Borats hatred of Jews - Sacha Baron Cohen is in fact Jewish.

Borat was on TV in Britain before he went to the USA. He has nothing to do with American politics.

Yes, the democrats found a British comedian. they convinced him to pretend to be a Khazak journalist and make fun of the south. It is their grand scheme to re-popularize the mustache look.

Sacha Baron-Cohen is English. There's a big, wide world out there beyond the shores of the USA, and we don't do things the same way you do...

God knows - but I'm dying to see that film.
As long as I live, I will never forget seeing a clip of him showing pornographic pictures of his "wife" to some unsuspecting yanks - I laughed so much I thought my demise was imminent.
