The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, a great trilogy for teens.
Books by Caroline Cooney or Lois Duncan or Joan Lowery Nixon are always exciting.

Try 'The Sound and the Fury' by William Faulkner.
It's like being in a fog with occasional glimpses of the world around you. Not an easy read because of the time shifts but worth sticking at.

I'm reading this book right now called "the temple of my familiar" it's a great book, written by Alice Walker, the author of the book "the color purple" you should try this one it's good.
