You are less likely to get pregnant, but a girl can get pregnant at any time during her cycle, even when on her period! Don't take a chance - use protection.
No harm will come to you for having sex right before your period. You can even have sex during your period (if you and your boyfriend aren't grossed out by it - some are, some aren't).

Why take the chance!!
We tried that many years ago and now we have children that
are 44-43-41....A "douche" afterwards does not work either. Just one little tiny sperm cell out of millions that can swim well, you can look for morning sickness shortly...Rody_o

Yes, you can have sex any day of the month if you use protection such as condoms or the pill. Why would you even want to have unprotected sex unless you want to get pregnant? Use protection!!! If you arn't responsible enough to USE PROTECTION then you shouldn't be having sex.

It's never safe to have unprotected sex. A woman can become pregnant at any point in her cycle, first day, last day, any day. Always use a condom unless you are trying to have a baby!!

Have protected intercourse if you want to avoid pregnancy, period.
Nothing will happen to your body if you have intercourse the day before your period. Some women say it improves cramps! Many women are HOT and it is fantastic at this time.
