PCOS is pretty common. Polycystic ovarian syndrome. There are other things that could cause no periods, too, most of them are some sort of hormone imbalance (which PCOS is, too). Stress, poor diet, and other things like that could cause it, too.

That happened to me when I was seventeen. I didn't have my period for more than three months and I knew I wasn't pregnant cause I wasn't having sex with anybody. The doctor said that is very common. You know period and the amount one gets every month and even the smell, the color too, all that is related to your diet. Things that you don't eat, things that you eat a lot, exercise as well, if you're worried,if you're stresses about something, many things can affect your period. Go to the doctor and tell him, he might give you that pills I was given, three pills, one a day, and after the third day you period will be back

I am in the exact same boat. I haven't had a period since June 2nd. The Doctor is testing my Thyroid, because if you have an underactive Thyroid, it messes with TTOM. If you have lost a signifigant amount of weight recently, that could be the problem. Or if you are overweight, that could also do it. I would definetely go to your doc. It could be sooooo many different things. Good luck!

Go to the doctor!!! Way too many variables here. Could range from a simple case of stress to something seriously wrong. Best thing you can do is just go get checked out and put your mind at ease. Best wishes!

You could have a cyst on your ovary. I went 74 days between my periods. The doc kept putting me off. He finally did an ultrasound and it was a cyst.
Don't wait. Make an appointment with your Ob-Gyn. It could be serious.
