What about the most expolsive player in the NBA Amare Stoudemire. If he comes back to 90% of what he was two seasons ago then he will be the best of all time. And no Dirk is not the best. He acts like a Two guard. If you want to be a PF than you have to get down and dirty in the key, not stay away from it. And Tim Ducan is first team ALL NBA, First team Defense like every year. And I think he won a few MVPs. So My vote is Tim right Now, but if Amare lives up, then he will be the best.

No. Tim Duncan still occupies that throne. With three titles and three Finals MVP awards, he struggled physically last season while averaging 18.6 pts., 11.0 reb., 3.2 ast., .88 stl., 2.03 blk., and shot .484 from the field. He was spectacular in the seven-game playoff loss to the Mavs, and some calls that could have gone either way were the difference. This is the first summer he's had off in years and don't underestimate what he will do this season.

No, as Dirk Nowitzki led the Mavs to the NBA finals, Kevin Garnett hasn't even led the T-Wolves to the playoffs. As for forwards all together, it's LEBRON JAMES.

KG is good but man I think that this year will be Orlando's Dwight Howard's coming out party
he was like top 3 in rebounding last year
seriously man Dwight Howard is gonna be better than Duncan, Garnett, and Amare
(I don't kno if he is better than Dirk Dirk should have got MVP last year)

In all honesty, I think K.G. is one of the best. Statistically (fantasy b-ball) he is proven to be the best player in the league. The fact that he has not won a ring in 10 yrs. does not make him the worst, or even close to the fact. To me, that proves hi loyalty to the team. If the Wolves would get him some good help, I think that they would have a chance.

well, he was and he still is one of the best...he was the best bfore but now many competitors have come up like dirk and tim...besides he's getting older. but kg is undoubtedly still good, with 4(or 5 already?) double-doubles this 06-07 season.
