An international conference starts on 7th Dec Thursday in Hubli at 8.30 A.M. I am from Chennai and i have to reach there on 7th morning by 7 AM . After the conference I have to start from there on Sunday , 10th Dec, probably after 7 P.M. I would like to travel by the shortest and safest route , if possible by a single train. If not, I would like to have at least 1 hour between the connections. Also there should not be any travel involved in between the connections ( alighting in one station and boarding in another).

You can take the Cheena-Vasco express and Vasco-Chennai express. This is the only major train plying in this route directly. Or else you can go to Bangalore by Brindavan Exp, Lalbaug Express, Myysore Shatabdi Express, Bangalore Shatabdi Express, Kaveri Express, Bangalore Passenger, Chennai-Coimbatore-Jaipur S.F Express etc. Then from Bangalore you can approach Hubli by the following trains:
Hubli Janshatabdi Express
Hubli Siddhaganga intercity Express
Dadar Sharavati Express( From Yeswantpur, near Banaglore)
Dadar Chalukya Express
Kolhapur Rani Chenamma Express etc.

Going by the current proceedings, it would take only half an Aussie team to tackle the Windies! Its a good opportunity to newbies! (mind you, not youngsters - Ben Rohrer is 31) Its a second stream line up, to be frank - but that's what transpires when the main team goes overseas! Everything said and done, players like Rohrer, Nathan Coulter - Nile, Faulkner, Laughlin, Hazlewood, Cutting and Finch should make the most of this presented opportunity! IMO, Joe Burns, Rob Quiney and Kane Richardson are some exciting talents who should make it to the side, the sooner, the better! The fans and Windies team aren't being short changed! There is no way around it - its a decision taken under the circumstances! Undermining the current T20 champs would be pig headedness! They can't keep the main team for the solitary T20 and end up in a pathetic state against India in the first test! Inexplicable! Thus, its a good opportunity for budding players as well as Australian cricket to look for more talents shrouded in the confines of misfortune! Cheers! :)
