there isn't anything you can do she is right is her body, but obviously shes a stupid irresponsible girl to do that do her unborn child, so after she has the baby if she continues to be unfit maybe your son should take her to court for custody of the baby

You don't mention whether you live in the united states, but here marijuana is an illegal substance and possesion is a crime. You could place a call to the police (non-emergency number) and say she has posession of marijuana. You could say you are concerned because she is pregnant. I bet they would look into it, especially if you say you think she has a large amount of it in her possession (if this is true).
I have also heard of pregnant women being subjected to periodic or random drug testing by the court system, once they have been arrested. I have heard of one woman being tossed in jail for the duration of her pregnancy because she was found to still be 'using." I seriously doubt you will find many courts as aggressive as that one was, though.
Good luck. She sure won't make much of a mom, will she? But then, there are loads of women on this board who say they ingested marijuana throughout their pregnancy and don't regret it. So some people think there's no problem with this.

Unfortunatly for baby and you, she is right. Until the baby is born your son as the father has no rights over the baby or her (thats why both signatures are not needed for her to get an abortion) Right now, she may just be pushing the limits, trying to "undo" the pregnancy (ie-- ignoring it) Hopefully as she becomes more pregnant and begins to feel the baby, gets bigger, and allows herself to begin the role of mom, she will become more responsible. Hopefully this happens sooner rather than later, before damage is done. On the bright side, babies are very resiliant, and weed is better than alcohol (apparently) for her little one. Keep at her, let her know you are concerned and prove to her that your son wants to stay in her life. She may just be freaking out right now and doesnt know how to deal. Good Luck, I hope all turns out well.

I don't think you can do anything now. But once the baby is born you can probably get visitation rights or far as custody through your son if a paternity suit is filed. Hopefully you can prove she is unfit to the courts and have the baby taken away from her. Have you tried to contact her parents at all? Might be another avenue to explore.
Good luck.

I do believe she is right, It is her body...I doubt there is anything they can do unless the baby is born drug addicted.
They might do a drug test, and if it comes back positive- request that she go through classes or something, But other than that, I don't think there's anything you, nor anyone else can do.
Besides that, If you've just 'heard' she's smoking pot, Why would you believe the person who told you?? Maybe it's a rumor?!
Hopefully you, nor your son are stressing her out while she's pregnant.,

Try once again to convince her & tell her that you dont want to pull her into the system by making a mental hygene arrest. That is where they pick her up for an evaluation. That may scare her straight ,,knowing that someone is watching & if she messes up the child can be taken away. And Im one who is not against smoking weed but have enough sense & respect to know that pregnant women should not smoke.Good luck.

it depends on the state you live in. you will have to call child services and find out. also remember during a break up every one says a lot of lies about both sides. also their is probably not a lot you can do until after the birth and test is done to make sure your son is the father. if you know her parents you can call them to talk over your concerns. remember if that is your grand child you don't want to start a war, just the rights to see the child. good luck

I dont know what you can do right now, but once the baby is born you can have the baby tested. And if the baby tests positive I am sure you can take legal action. If it is really serious you can call child protective services. But I would only do that if you truely truely believe she is smoking pot.
If the girl is a minor, talk to her parents.

have her charged with child endangerment, and child abuse. Call child protective services and have them do a drug test first. Then when the baby is born, you can take custody until she staightens up.
