I am curious to know, if soemone can hack into your computer and see what you were doing either online or not online? Also, if you use someone's internet, with your computer is there a way they could see what you did?

No they can't.

The best comparison is... if someone knows my home address, can they steal everything in my house.

An IP address is like a street address. Having said that, if you don't leave your doors and windows open someone would probably break into your house. Same with computers, you should use a firewall ( I prefer a hardware firewall/router) and make sure that your Operating system and applications are patched.

No they can't. just because they know the IP address they can't use the IP address to get into the computer. Why that is is because the IP address is used to find YOUR computer and send what you wanted to YOUR computer not mine or a guys in China.

No they might't. merely through fact they understand the IP handle they might't use the IP handle to get into the workstation. Why that is is using the fact the IP handle is used to discover YOUR workstation and deliver what you needed on your workstation not mine or a adult males in China.

yes there is possibility that it can hack your computer and take every important things you stored in your hard drives. And sometimes they can able to watch you are doing.

they can if your internet is on and they can use your IP address as a proxy server to send spam.
