were u born in a barn or field

this has been on going for along time

Round here they always say, 'Where you born in a barn'

- with Christmas coming up maybe 'born in a stable' would be more appropriate.

Grandma's "Were you born in a BARN?" meant that you did not have good manners or courtesy to do things properly. . .being born in a barn meant the farm animals did not know any better. This is an old country or farmer's saying such as "A Shake of a Lamb's tail" meaning right away or "Down Yonder" meaning that way,

Ha! 3 years. you're a ROOKIE! 23 years 2 months 3 days 19 hours and fifty one minutes the following. How's THAT for an argument? I even recognize even as that is going to likely be over. June 14th 2010, an afternoon after our youngest's 18th birthday. LOL.
