True communism is very left.
There hasn't yet been a country that's attempted true communism.

China is sort of a dictatorship, but there are more freedoms than your conventional dictatorship.

The Chinese actually call their form of government a republic.
"The People's Republic of China"

but to answer your question, yes, China does have some extremely conservative policies.
