I agree but it's nothing new. It has been going on since the beginning. I think there is still integrity in politics, but sometimes you have to fight fire with fire. I think there is more balance than we realize you just have to look really hard to see it.

Look at how wild the media/mtv has gotten and yet people seem to be getting more uptight and judgemental and there are way more rules (laws) against things than I remember as a kid.

Because negative ads work. If only 1 candidate uses them, the other is at a huge disadvantage.

To bad integrity has been put on the back burner. To "sway" at any cost. We all complain, but our reactions feed the continuation of ENTERTAINMENT.

I don't like it at all. It's hard to respect someone who is so busy cutting down his opponent instead of simply telling his side of things and his own beliefs. It seems like a crooked, unethical way to try to get votes.

i think you're right. no politician seems to be able to run on their merits because their only in it for the money
