It depends what kind of relationship you have with your parents. It can sometimes come out in normal everyday conversation when you're talking about a night out or your life in general. It might happen more formally whe you decide to bring a significant other home to 'meet the parents' the main thing is to not present your lifestyle as a threat and to bring it out in the nicest, gentlest possible way, yet at the same time balance it by letting them know it's a big deal to you and not just 'some phase.'

You are going to do it however you want to. But the way I did it was. I told my aunt and Uncle first because I was really close to them and they were so cool about it. Then I planned on telling my mother one night and it just came out I was like Mom im gay. And she started crying and asking questions but she was good about it. I mean what can she do right. Well my dad was a little harder I mean he is always let go play sports and he is a manly man so it was hard. So what I did was I put naked pics of men under my bed cover and left the phone under there as well so when he went to page it, he found pics so he already kind of new. And when he came to pic me up I was like dad I have something to tell you and he is like well I already new. So that is how I did it. Just a suggestion.

the main suitable way is to no longer beat around the bush. basically tell them which you have something necessary which you will possibly prefer to consult with them and spot in case you're able to do it after dinner or something like that. Do it quickly because of the fact in the event that they locate out from somebody else which would be particularly painful for them. basically pop out and say it. tell them something like "mom , Dad, I basically prefer to make it easier to adult men be the 1st to renowned that i'm bi and picture i'm going to be leaning greater in the direction of being gay." they're your mum and dad and could love you no count what. you will experience a lot greater suitable while it relatively is all achieved and over with. sturdy success!

I would suggest you read the book entitled
"So now you know"
It is a very good book written from the parent prospective and will allow you to see what your parents will be going through. You have had your entire lifetime to come to terms with your sexuality. Your parents need to time too.

Well, I just said, "I'm gay." My Mom was real understanding, she'd suspected for awhile. My Dad not so much, but I didn't know how else to tell him.
Good luck!!!

I never knew my father, so I haven't told him. But my mother understood. She raised me alone, so she knew me pretty well. She probably knew before I did that I like men.
If you aren't sure how they will react, you should make casual comments to find out who they feel about homosexuality. If they have open minds, you can ease into it. If not, you should probably keep quiet for awhile.

Might be? I'd wait until you're absolutely sure before you let that one out of the bag.
