People usually say you start to get bigger from your lower stomach frist but I am the opposite and I am actually bigger from the top of my stomach. The lower part of my stomach isn't firm bu the top of my belly is starting to get firm. Has anyone else been like this too?

I'm currently 39wks, And my belly has been like this from the start, with my last 2 pregnancies.
The top part of my tummy is the hardest, And the lower half is a little more 'flabby'...

Absolutely. Please go easy on your self, and don't feel so obsessive about what you can't control right now.
The smaller, or even flatter, your belly is pre-pregnacy, the quicker you'll show.
I was showing right away, so it was assumed that I was further along than I was.
With both of my babies, most of my weight gain was in the first 3 months, then it evened out
This is not unusual at all.
In the end, you'll take care of your baby, and get back into shape if that is what you so desire.
Go easy on you.
This is a special time, and the only certain thing is that no baby stays inside forever. Enjoy this.

i just depends on the person. I didnt start showing a lot till i was 5 1/2 months along but i ballooned up fast. Now at 8 months im huge. Your obgyn should be able to detect how far along you are because he can see in the ultrasounds.

with my son i had the same promblem along with this pregnancy too. but with my son i started showing so early people thought i was going to have twins. and with this one my lower stomach seems softer than it did with my son. don't worry just relax. good luck and congratulations!!!!

Yes!!! I just asked a similar question, mine is kinda soft at the bottom but still looks very pregnant, apparently it is normal, and nothing to worry about!

kind of--my doctor told me that my uterus was just higher--but everything turned out ok----dont worry everyone is different and grows different too!
