I was a cool nerd - I ganged up with a bunch of other nerds, misfits, outcasts, and rebels, and waged a surrealist war against the forces of (1)conformity, (2)normality and (3)authority. All three kicked our asses, but all three knew they'd been in a fight.

I always wanted to be popular in high school but I wasn't. I was way too shy. I don't think I was a nerd though. I just had my own circle of friends.

I try to stay away from stereotypes like that, but I'll make an exception... I'm still in high school right now, and I'm considered to be "The Smart Girl." However, I do have a sense of humor and a personality that makes me "Cool." So, I'm both, I guess... :-)

Well, I'm a sophmore in high school and I'm one of the popular kids. This is my first year in this school and the best way to be cool is to be yourself. But I wasn't always cool, I started off as a nerdy, dorky guy in seventh grade, which was part of my high school.

I was (and still remain, many years later) a sheer and utter nerd. Never got fashion - it's still cartoon t-shirts and socks-and-sandals all the way with me - totally excited about school, books, learning, and all that good stuff, gawky and good-naturedly awkward in social situations, can't dance to save my soul but will still give it a try on occasion anyway, still have an ant farm and am quite proud of it ... wooh yeah, Weird Al has nothing on me.

It's kind of fun, really, once you've gotten used to it and let yourself revel in all your nerdly glory =)
