what does it mean when ur pregnant and ur baby is engaged inside ur stomach?

When the baby's presenting part (usually the head) has settled into the pelvic cavity, usually in the last month of pregnancy. You are likely to notice that the baby's position has visibly changed and may also feel increased pressure on your bladder.

It means her head is in the birth canal, ready to be born. Most women know it as "dropping or lightening" but doctors actually measure it in numbers... like -2. I believe 0 means the head is fully engaged and occurs right before labor begins, +5 means the head is crowning..

It just means the baby has moved his/her head down further into your pelvic area and is getting ready to enter the world!! :-)
