We get weather data from satellites that have fixed orbits. Nogaps,Nexrad,Goes are some of
the sources of weather data gathered from
space tracking storms and cloud and wind patterns in the form of radar and cloud pics. Barometers,themometers and hygrometers are used to give pressure and temps on the surface to help get info and
analysis and put it together to help get a
forecast for a particular region.
