What are the statue of limitations of crimes, other than murder, since there's none? Is it different by state government or the same across the USA? I've tried to find websites for it, and came up short. This is partial research for my two novels I'm working on, that has some law aspect to it. Does anybody know, even refer some good websites?

You need to look for STATUTE of limitations, rather than statue. That will help.

For robbery, fraud, etc., the general limitation is 7 years, but it might vary depending on state or whether it is federal.

The series of books you need is called the Howdunit Series from Writers Digest Books. I believe the specific volume that would help you is called "Crime and Punishment."

There's also a book called "The Crime Reference Book" that is helpful.

I personally like "Wounds & Injuries". I like to know where I can hurt my hero without killing him.

In some states, like Virginia, there are no statutes of limitations for felonies, of which rape is... a legal, it somewhat is. undesirable premise = rubbish in = rubbish out. There are somewhat many different categories of crimes: misdemeanors, felonies, crimes against people, crimes on the subject of wellness and secure practices, crimes against the administration of justice, and so on. So, sure, "against the regulation is merely against the regulation" in case you are able to no longer cope with the complexities of the actual international. "To oversimplify is to lie."

Try legaldocs. com. Most have a 2yr. SOL., but some states do differ. Try getting on a law school webpage & typing in the question. Some page like, yale, harvard....
Good luck!
