I'm 36 weeks today and I lost my mucus plug over a week ago. I've been having early labour since 21:30 (-4) GMT yesterday. The available OB/GYN said I was 1cm dialated this afternoon but the baby was too young a gestational age to speed up the labour. But, she said I was far along enough that if the labour was in fact not false they wouldn't stop it. I would really appreciate your stories if they apply.

I went to the hospital yesterday at 36 weeks and four days... my labor was strong from about three AM till noon.. and then gave out. They had me walk, but like you said would not speed the process up for at least another week. I started at one cm 30% effaced. Today when I went into the doctors office (no labor today) I was three cm, 70 % effaced. My doctor is guessing this weekend or early next week for delievery. Hang in there.. it may be labor, but it may not keep going. Like they said, they won't stop it this far in the game if baby is okay, but they won't do anything to help you out either, which despite the long labor means no pain medication either. Walk if they let you, but also if they let you, you might want to go home and try to sleep it off, if it gets stronger go back later. Best of luck to you.

I was 38 weeks when I lost the plug with my daughter, I actually delivered her the next morning. I woke up the Friday not feeling well with like period cramps and I just knew that I was starting labor. I started at 5am ( on a Friday ) and delivered her Saturday at 4am. That was my first pregnancy and it was my longest.

My 2 boys I never saw the plug. My 1st son was total of 8 hours that was start to finish. My youngest was 12 hours total. Oh yeah, my daughter came on her due date, my oldest son 1 day past due date and my youngest came at 37 weeks. He was the biggest baby of all. I actually had just turned 37 weeks within the half an hour after I got there.

No worries hon....your baby will be just fine even if you go into labor now. Worrying will only make it worse on you. Try to relax.

Best of luck to you and congrats....a little early :)

I do understand the way you experience. i'm presently pregnant with my second and my due date is August seventh. the purely ingredient i can say is each and every being pregnant is diverse, it relies upon on you and how a lot soreness you may take. With my first I felt purely like you didnt favor to flow to the medical institution only for them to deliver me decrease back residing house.. my due date with my son replaced into October 19, i began early problematical artwork on the seventeenth and took all the soreness i might want to until eventually 4 something that morning which replaced into then the 18th and that i had him at like 5:40 8 that morning. after I were given to the medical institution i replaced into already 7cm so there replaced into no sending me residing house!!!!
