Unfortunately, the following quote couldn't be any truer:

"In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve."

However, I see your point, and it's unfortunate that the government officials have to bottom out before the people find the effort to rise up and throw the bums out.

No. I think good political leadership leads to positive changes.

If there is bad leadership, new leadership will always emerge.

And new leadership, always tends to do a better job, so they can stay in power.

It's a revolving political door in America!

traditionally it leads to a revolution, followed by change.. the revolution doesn't always overturn the government.. but it is usually violent in some form or another......... but usually the rebirth after wards is better than what it came from.
