Canada doesn't have any States. If it did, we'd be the United States of Canada. Wouldn't that be confusing?
We have Provinces, and Territories. Quebec is the largest province in land area, Ontario has the largest population.

If you're talking about political divisions, then Canada has no "states" ... just provinces (10) and territories (3).
However, like all places on this planet, there are three distinct "states" ... solid, liquid, and gas. Since 'volume' belonging to a political entity extends upward from its border to (theoretically) the limits of atmosphere (and also in a tapering conical profile to the planet's center), there are large "gaseous" and "solid" states associated with each country.
The earth has a mean radius of 3963.1 miles (6378 km) and an atmospheric depth of 62 miles (100 km). Therefore the largest "state" would have to be SOLID.
