MAnchester United are just another football club from England. However, due to certain events in the past and at present, together with some shrewd marketing strategies, they have become the most supported or well-known club in the world. They play in the English Premier League and are owned by an American businessman.
I'm a fan (since 1983) and can tell you that you'll need to read their history (at least the abridged version) to see why they're so loved (or hated).

a football team from mancehster, but if you live in manchester you don't seem to qualify to become their supporters, that title is saved for everyone else from the rest of the country or world, that is why when manchester play home games you can get into manchester in 10 mins, cos the rest are on coaches goin back to everywhere else in the UK

one of the greatest Premiership club & has a wide fan base in the Far East & Southeast Asia. here in Malaysia, we have our own Manchester United fan club.
