....apparently there's this guy who decided not to take his girlfriend as his partner at the prom, and took a so-called "friend" with him, to the disgust of many of his friends/family. His girlfriend was clearly hurt by this but pretended to be "ok with it". How wld u react (girls) if this happened to you and why (boys) wld u wanna do such a thing?

i would be hurt because prom night is a special night for girls and guys and i wouldn't want to go with anyone except my boyfriend. if my boyfriend didn't take me i would be hurt but i don't think i would pretend to be ok with it. i would have to ask him why he decided he didn't want to go with me and let him know exactly how i feel. the other girl may have just been a friend but to any girlfriend it's going to get them thinking isn't it ...

If that had happened to me, the boyfriend would no longer be a boyfriend. There is no justification for that. It wouldn't matter to me what he reason was. A high school prom is one of those snapshots in time that stays with you forever.

never that's mean! my brother went with this guys girl friend but my brother doesn't have a girl friend so he had to go out with some one and its just for fun oh and he was prom king he he.
