Mary Kay Foundation is great. It controls oil for 10 hours. And if your face still looks shiny use Mary Kay Beauty Blotters. It absorbs oil without removing your makeup so you can use it all day. Just click the link below.

Wash your face in the morning and apply a primer before you put on your foundation. Do not use moisturiser before as it will sit on top of your skin making your face look more shiny. One of the best primers to hide oiliness is Benefit's Porefessional primer. It is quite expensive, around the £20 mark but you will honestly see a massive reduction in the oiliness you experience during the day. I would also recommend Rimmel Stay Matte powder, this is fantastic at reducing shine throughout the day. I would steer clear of liquid foundation and opt for powders instead. You can also use blotting papers to take away shine during the day, you can get these from the Body Shop I believe. Good luck!

My skin is extremely oily too. I searched high and low and tried everything that you could think of. If you are looking for a liquid foundation, Revlon Colorstay and Prescriptives Flawless do a good job in remaining in place for the whole day. They also cover very well. However, my favorite that does it all, including healing my skin and making it flawless, is Everyday Minerals, Intensive Formula. Try everydayminerals.com. The company sends samples for free, but make sure that you get a sample of Intensive Formula.

Some foundations and cover ups are made for oily skin, but I prefer to put on an oil control lotion before my foundation, then just use a regular foundation. ProActive makes a daily oil control lotion (you don't have to buy the whole proactive package, you can get just that one piece). I use that when I wash my face and it keeps the oil to a minimum and then regular foundation works.

I used Mary Kay primer to put under my makeup in the oily areas and it works! I was shocked - not expecting a whole lot but hoping for some product that would make me not be shiney all they time. I happened upon it on Ebay but there are lots of dealers out there. If Mary Kay makes it then maybe there will be other companys that make a primer for oily skin. Good luck!

Don't use an invigorating apricot scrub, it'll only make your skin produce more oil. Try a foundation that is oil free or use oil blotting papers on shiny areas.

Yes , I have an answer , b/c I have the same problem . You should buy a liquid or cream foundation that is SHINE -FREE . You could also buy one that is Oil-Free , and try to make sure you get a Matte instead of a shine .
