I am a huge fan of documentaries. I love films that touch the real human spirit. My favorite would have to be "When The Levess Broke: A Requiem In Four Acts", a HBO movie by Spike Lee. It uncovered the atrocities of Hurricane Katrina with a candid and humanistic look. I cried and laughed through out it and recommend it to everyone.

It was a nature documentary called "Animals Are Beautiful People." It was all about the ecosystems of the Namib Desert and the surrounding area. It was both funny (the "go-away" bird) and poignant (the drought season and its effects). The music was all by established composers, but chosen well for the scenes in which it played.

I thought Supersize me was really well done. I also liked this one I saw once about the history of absinthe. It was on the special features for the movie From Hell. I also like it when History Channel does ones about the Middle Ages and people dress up so you get a bit of imagery.

Bowling For Columbine. Michael Moore may be controversial but he did a great job on that movie.

i really like these two. One was called a everyday ordinary family or something like that. It was about couples that were different races and the familie hated that the couples were getting married and having kids. And the second one was called My life or something like that, were they showed how guys and girls are abusive to family memebers and and to their boyfriend and girlfriends.
