how can anyone NOT recognize prince william? some girl monitoring some exculsive club supposely didn't recognize prince william and supposely he couldn't in, wtf? even i can recognize prince william and i'm not even british-i'm american

He was on a P & O Ferry going from Dover to France and he wanted to get into the club class area but had not booked it so she was just doing her job.
But most people should know who he is I bet she is embarressed

When his mother was engaged to Prince Charles she was refused admission to the royal enclosure by an official who didn't recognise her. There are such people around!
I think the occasion you are referring to was when Prince William was travelling with a group of friends on the ferry to France without a ticket and was not admitted to the Club Class Lounge. I like the official comment: "I suppose if the Prince chooses to travel incognito and eschew a visit to the bridge and a handshake with the captain, he is likely to find out what life is like as an ordinary mortal sooner or later."
It's not as though he couldn't afford to pay his fare. If we had been caught without tickets, we would no doubt have been arrested.

Believe it or not, there are a lot of girls who can not recognize Prince William. Not everyone is royal crazy.

Many people are not interested in the Royal flock, and would not recognise a Royal if they fell over one! The "cult" of other peoples faces, seems to be important to Americans. I do not mean this in a nasty way, but when your country has some culture and "real" people in its society , perhaps you too will ignore those who are irrelevant, and recognise those of true value.

Its one thing to see them on the TV or in papers, but when you see them in real life, possibly not in the way you would expect to see them, it can be difficult to recognise them.
I stood next to Brad Pitt at work a few years back, and I didn't recognise him. I didn't expect to see him there.
