Since I was in 5th grade I've always wanted a daughter named Elizabeth. Congrats!

i would avoid anything beginning with the same letter as your surname, why not wait til she is born? My daughter was going always going to be Emilie when i was pregnant, then when she was born we both decided that she didnt suit the name and chose an alternative. Or why not decide on 2 or 3 names and let your older daughter pick the name. That way, you will all have a say in what the new baby is called. Hope it all goes well

Just think of the Marriage ceremony, Lindy Belle or Caron Manchester Untied might sound great down the pub but the laugh whan the Vicar reads it out in Church or the Magistrates consider her speeding offence may noy be helpful.
Nothing wrong with Elizabeth in my view, shortened to Beth Bess Bessie, Liz, Lizzy, Liza, (cos Lisa withan s goes snuds.) Queen seems to have done all right with it...
Watch the initials, Gloria Imogen Taylor for instance, start all the names with consonants.

You wont be able to answer this until your little girl is born. If your partner likes an name and you don't.... don't worry you will give in and let her choose the name after you see everything she goes through. Its a tough job but us women do it. You wont care once she is here. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you both....

We didn't name our daughter till the day after she was born, not cos we couldn't agree, just cos I was so convinced we were having another boy that we hadn't thought of any girls names!
We called her Emily with Jane as a middle name, but I also liked Mollie and Olivia.

Daisy, Delia, Celia, Amelia, Poppy, Rosy, Lilly, Ruby, Kitty, Olivia, Harriet(Hattie), Louise, Violet, Jasmine, Francesca, Jenna, Josephine.
It depends what type of names you like and also if you want to put a loved ones name in their somewhere. My daughters name is Daisy her middle name is Beau because my son calls his Grandma "Bo" (her name is Jo and he couldn't say it). Best wishes!!!
