I dunno what to do for my 23rd. I haven't celebrated my birthday in over ten years (yes, I didn't celebrate my 18th or my 21st) and wouldn't mind doing so this year. However, I don't have a job and so I got no money, I have no friends in town because they all live in other towns around the country and my birthday is at the beginning of December which is the coldest month of the year.
Anyway, I dunno what to do. Anyone got any ideas? The current option in my head, due to circumstances, is to stay in and let it pass me by, but what do u all think?

Try getting in touch with some of your friends and see if you can all meet somewhere for dinner or a game or bowling or anything else you'd like to do! Just have fun and celebrate! It doesn't have to cost a lot.

Starting tonight I think that you should make it a point to read the job ads in your local newspaper and apply to every job that you think that you can qualify for. Try to apply to 23 jobs. Spend 23 days on the job hunt. Bet you get one!
Then you can celebrate your 23rd birthday in a BIG way.
Best wishes for a new job and a great December birthday!

Sounds like you should get a job, not to be offensive, save up some serious money, and use it for a well deserved birthday next year.
This year tho, if you have a girl/guy tell them about your situation I'm sure they'll eat it up and give you a proper birthday.
If not, go to a free public place and find yourself a gal/guy, the zoo, park, heck, I'd even go to church, if your into that.
Good luck.

Dance on a busy street corner with a huge sign saying "Happy Birthday to me!" and birthday songs blasting on your boom box. Put a guitar case in front of you and get some money. With any luck you'll get on the local news or in the news paper and have enough money to drink yourself silly. :P

sell a few of your comics on ebay then do something special or buy something special for yourself or go to one of those other towns that you have friends in and party with them or better yet try to organize your own party by finding a comm place you and your friends can all meet and have a big party
good luck

You have to go out on your b-day. Since you will be 23 and your b-day is in December yuo should celebrate it close to New Years and go to Las Vegas, L.A., or Miami. Get a group of friends to go or go solo you will still have fun.
