I need the page numbers on the paper back copy. It's the first book in the series.

What do you mean? I have a paperback copy of "The Dark is Rising" here right now: it has 267 pages.
The only other numbers are the chapter page numbers.

My paperback copy of The Dark is Rising has 244 pages.

Wouldn't you know that is the only paperback in the series we don't have at the library where I work? However, I looked it up on Amazon.com and they say there is 325 pages in the paperback "The Dark is Rising."
Hopefully, it is the same edition as you need.
