Terminal 2 is VERY small (only 8 gates total) and usually very quiet, although it depends what time of day you are there. It only has a small gaming area so you should be able to avoid the machines easily. I suggest finding a gate with no departing flight, or if you don't mind going through security again you could head downstairs to baggage claim or outside to get some fresh air.

Go into one of the restaurants - not the fast food places - they are quieter - also check out the bar/lounge - sometimes these are quieter - I know there's one that's no smoking.

If all else fails, I always go the the area farthest from the machines - i.e. a gate that has not scheduled flight. I also always have ear plugs. I don't have an ipod or cd player but I imagine that would be a good thing.

Also check the airport map for term 2 to see if there is a business lounge for other airlines - some charge a small fee to enter on a one time basis. :)

PS: I fly in and out of Vegas every 2 months or so....

Terminal 2 is the unique terminal. that is a lot smaller than the more recent terminal a million. Terminal 2 is used by foreign places airways and structure flights. that is amazingly ordinary to get round terminal 2 because that is so small an has restricted gates compared to the numerous terminal. you'd be high-quality.
