They are taught to kill the infidel.

It's obvious Americans are more tolerant. The reason being is the stability of government in this country. Most Muslim countries have had years of violence and blood shed. Being around constant violence only breeds more violence. If you were a kid in Iraq and saw what was going on, you would feel hatred to all outsiders. Outsiders being those who are not Muslim. It is a vicious cycle that gets played over and over again.

Americans are encouraged to be critical thinkers, to question everything and not just accept what is being handed to you (or fed into your brain). Brainwashing is a terrible thing. Brainwashed people are intolerant of criticism because they have a complex all the time that they are "being picked on". Whereas critical, progressive thinkers, and American Muslims often fall into this category, know that part of a good debate is being able to take it as well as you can dish it out.
