Why, or why not?

To gemini2: Numerous sources, such as the Senate Select Intelligence Committee, Scott Ritter, and others, have confirmed 1) there never were WMD, and 2) no connection between Hussein & al-Qaeda.

The solution to terrorism would include the shutdown of the international narcotics trade, which is a vast source of liquid money, to finance terror. U.S. attacks on Afganistan's largest "cash crop" -- opium poppies -- is noticeably lacking.
Anyone who knows anything about terrorism, knows that it is backed by nations. There's no such thing as "independent terrorism".
There are still many questions about the attack of 9-11 itself. Since Russia admitted, it did not have the means of carrying out such an attack, do you really believe that some fellow in a cave, could co-ordinate such a sophisticated attack? Who lowered the security screen?

To Bansch: If you think disrespect for our leaders should be a crime, perhaps you need to refresh your memory as to the protections given us in our U.S. Constitution. I refer you to the Bill of Rights.

Or, perhaps, you're jealous of our freedoms, here in America?

Yeah that sounds right, cheney should be tried just for the facthe was in enron, everybody else got screwed over but he hid behind bush's lying ***.Bush should be put on trial for lying to the public about his military, which he never was in , any one can put a jump suit on stand beside a plane and say i was in service. He's nothing but a big liar.He should have pulled our troops out right after saddam was captured. Where has cheney been hiding.

No. It's not crimes against humanity. Hussein commited that crime by using genocide against the Shiites. Bush and Cheney don't deserve to be on trial, since it's not a crime. Just by sending the troops to war doesn't make it a crime. If we want to fight for our country against terrorism, pre-9/11, post-9/11 and even now, it's our duty, our decision. It's our call. America won't charge them with it, no matter what you think of it now, even after office, because we didn't commit genocide by wiping out a race by religion. We choose to go to war. It's not a crime, plain and simple.

What war crimes??? We are fighting terrorism - there was a 911 disaster in this country, and the president needed to do something. Misleading information that there were weapons of mass destruction and other false info. sent us over to Iraq. Do you have any solutions to fighting terrorism?

Bush, cheney and Rumsfeld have killed more people than Hussein ever did....at last count there are 130,000 innocent Iraqi people dead.....maybe I am wrong on how many people Hussein killed, but I do know my 130,000 is a low, very low estimate of how many innocent people have died in Iraq.

For goodness sakes, LET IT DIE! Would you want someone to continually bring up past or present things you'd done when there were no way of redoing them or taking them back?
