Not everyone is from your city. Car accidents don't make international news, especially considering they happen every few seconds.

Well believe it or not, local car accidents, no matter how bad, usually don't make national news. And since you didn't give your city or even what part of the world you live in, odds are there aren't a lot of people on Y!A that know which wreck you are referring to.
