Cows are herbivores, which means that when they're behaving in a normal manner they are only eating plant matter and never eating animal matter.

This does not keep farmers from feeding cows other cows, however - which is why Mad Cow Disease got it's foot so thoroughly in the door.

The lesson here is: Let cows eat plant matter, and stop feeding them chickens.

I've never killed a farmyard animal, but back when I was a kid I caught and gutted several fish, and also shot some ducks and plucked and gutted them too. My grand-dad taught me to do that. Totally agree that no-one has the right to eat any meat until they've at least once killed and prepared an animal on their own. Comparing it to other factory processes like making a car is just silly. It's the taking of life of another sentient creature.

lol, cows eat vegitation, they do not eat meats. A cow will not eat a dead chicken left laying around, they will eat no part of it, including feathers.

However, to add protien to some commercial animal foods, some companies will add processed animal meats. So inadvertantly a cow might eat some chicken meat if its grain is treated is such a way.

your friend is a nerd.

They eat mainly grasses, however, it depends on what you grind up and put into their food. You can feed a cow anything if you disguise it. If they have their choice they will not partake of any kind of meat...or feathers for that matter.

Cows don't even eat chicken feathers.....They are strictly herbivores!

I also don't eat chick fil a's because they're owned by a religious wack-job! There's plenty of other places to eat that don't fund jebus.

cow are stupid animals! they really will eat just about anything you grind up and feed them! when my grandparents had a farm they use to feed them a magnet to catch all the metal that they would eat by accident so when they went to slaughter they had a good idea where it should all be!
